Dirty Jerz Retail GmbH would like to offer traders who have an affinity with youth an innovative sales concept. The strong American youth textile trademarks Ecko Unltd., RED by Marc Ecko and Zoo York are, in that respect, the focal point of the concept. Zoo York is meanwhile an internationally well-known trademark, inspired by skateboarding, graffiti art, hip hop, punk and many other creative currents. The Zoo York collections constantly offer a large selection of casual styles for men and women, which skilfully connect military influences with the symbolism of Zoo York.
Ecko Unltd., on the other hand, is strongly rooted in the hip hop and youth culture, and makes products for generations which know no bounds. Besides the men’s range Ecko Unltd., the girls’ label Red by Marc Ecko also offers a broad range of outerwear, from jeans, through shorts, up to shirts, polos, hoodies, and lots more.
The respective collections can be rounded off with accessories and shoes (e.g. Nike or Skechers), which can be obtained via Dirty Jerz.
The local trader has a limited risk and should be able to concentrate fully on selling the goods, without his or her entrepreneurial freedom being too greatly impaired. Dirty Jerz provides complete marketing power, from the shop concept, through PR measures, right up to the organisation of events. Dirty Jerz takes on the complete preliminary financing of the goods and ensures at all times that the shops have an optimum and adequate assortment. Unwanted goods are accepted back by Dirty Jerz in full. The local partner also does not need to worry about the EDP system.
The local trader is responsible for the shop or shops in question. He or she takes care of the renting of the sales premises and the appointment and remuneration of the sales staff. The partner may order further goods at any time and ensures that turnovers are maximised by presenting the goods in the optimum way. The partner receives a fixed 40% sales commission on all turnovers. He or she thus fully participates in increasing turnovers without having to bear the risk of purchase and end-of-season price reductions or the costs of preliminary financing. In the initial phase Dirty Jerz assists, if required, with advance payments on future commissions.
Other than with classic franchise contracts, this partnership model bears signicantly less risk and investment expenditure for the partner, however does not offer any less chances of growth and profit.
